Fruit Salad with Maple-Lime Dressing

This is a simple fruit salad but with a twist. The lime zest makes everything pop and the bit of maple syrup adds a touch of additional flavor to a traditional summer beauty. I've suggested some fruits but use what you like.

Fruit Salad Ingredients:

    • Pineapple
    • Strawberries
    • Grapes
    • Canteloupe
    • Blueberries
    • Rasberries
    • Kiwi Fruit
    • 1-2 limes
    • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup  Slippery Slope Maple Syrup
    • pinch of salt
  •

Method

  1. I didn’t put specific amounts of fruit – add what you like and adjust the lime juice and maple syrup as needed
  2. Cut up your fruit and put in a medium or large bowl (depending on how much you need)

  3. Zest 1-2 limes and add to bowl.

  4. Squeeze the juice of 1-2 limes over fruit

  5. Add 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup

  6. Add a pinch of salt  (this helps bring out the unique flavors of the maple and lime)
  7. Mix everything together.

Notes from Slippery Slope Maple-  If you are not serving right away you will find this fruit salad makes some juice at the bottom of bowl. It’s ok to drain this off. It will not change the flavor!
